Blackburn with Darwen Council has partnered with Shelter and the Citizens Advice Bureau into a central point in Blackburn Library.

Apple Trees Youth Club

Sessions run by experienced staff on a Monday during term time from 6:30pm to 8:30pm for young people with low to moderate disabilities.

Offering activities such as crafts, baking, computer games, sports etc to help develop skills or independence and socialising.

Blackburn Youth Zone

For 8-25 year olds, sessions Sunday 10:00am to 1:00pm and after school, where young people with disabilities can meet new friends and develop new skills, and get involved in a wide range of sports and activities such as table tennis, football, music, and crafts.

50p a session, annual membership £3. Pick up direct from Crosshill after school one day a week. Family Days run the last Sunday of every month.
