Year 11 Leavers Assembly and Prom

Goodbye and Good Luck to our class of  2018 Year 11

We celebrated our students time at coming to an end

Our Year 11 students have had a busy time preparing for their departure from Crosshill with fund raising events including a car wash to raise funds towards their leavers trip to the cinema and Pizza Hut. They have also been creating their own student newsletter for parents to enjoy. They also held a tea party for class members during school time. The Leavers assembly was held on 29 June. The students received their progress files and special awards were presented in front of their school colleagues, staff, families, and school governors. We wish our students all the best in their new beginnings in higher education. Four students will be joining our KS5 sixth form unit which will be based in Crosshill School. The destinations of other students include Myerscough College , Blackburn College, St Marys College and Newfield School.

On Thursday 5 July 2018 our Year 11 students joined BCHS students for their end of school prom. The students looked beautiful and handsome in their “Posh” frocks and suits and were escorted in style to the prom in a chauffeur driven limo. The evening at Dunkenhalgh Hotel included a three course meal, speeches and disco with our students and staff enjoying an evening of dance. Aayza and Hussayn were crowned Prom Queen and King.
