Tuesday 15 August 2017 Family Craft and Cake morning
Crosshill families enjoyed a creative morning during the summer holidays
Our Families spent the morning glass and porcelain painting, creating their own designs on drinking glasses, cereal bowls, mugs and terracotta dishes. Everyone enjoyed a chat with other parents and children whilst working on their designs. There were points when a pin being dropped could be heard as everyone concentrated and were engrossed on the fiddly parts of their creations.
Everyone was so proud to display their work and also made gift labels to take them home to their family. The morning was completed with a cup of tea or coffee and slice of cake whilst admiring their work.
Those who attended said the morning working with the paints and being creative was very therapeutic and addictive and cannot wait to do it again. So watch this space for Christmas Craft and Cake Evening in the Autumn term.
