Students set up food bank
As part of their work towards the Achieve Programme with The King’s Trust, Post 16 students at Crosshill Special School have explored different ways in which they can help others. As a class they have then voted how they would like to do this. They have decided that a food bank is a good idea as there are lots of people currently struggling with rising food costs. Working in partnership with Benefit Mankind, the UK based aid relief charity, the students will be collecting food and then packing food parcels to distribute to those in need.
