Communication can be one of the biggest barriers at Crosshill and that’s why we place a strong emphasis on trying to make things as accessible as we can.
As part of this work, we have created some new outdoor communication boards to help break down barriers for our learners. They provide a number of benefits for students, including:
- Helping to support and enhance communication skills,
- Fostering independence and confidence
- Reducing frustration
- Making learning environments more inclusive
