Apple Trees Youth Club For 5–16 year olds.  Sessions run by experienced staff.  Monday term time from 6.30 pm to 8.30 pm for young people with low to moderate disabilities.  Offering activities such as crafts, baking, computer games, sports etc to help develop skills of independence and socialising.

Blackburn Youth Zone For 8-25 year olds. Sessions Sunday 10.00 am to 1.00 pm and after school, where young people with disabilities can meet new friends and develop new skills, getting involved in a wide range of sports and activities i.e table tennis, football, music, crafts.

50p a session, annual membership £3.

Pick up direct from Crosshill after school one day a week.

Family Days run the last Sunday of every month – for all family.

Children and Young People’s Special Educational Needs and Disability (SEND) Forum For children with SEND.  Meets 3 times a year on Saturday morning at Kaleidoscope.

Aims to ensure young people with SEND are given regular opportunities to socialise and share their views about local service provision.

Disability Links and Parents Forum Voluntary register that parents/carers put their name on.    The register provides regular information about events, activities and support for 0-25 year olds.

The register also organises a Parents Forum which meets 4 times a year for parents, carers, young people and professionals to meet and discuss issues of issues, invite guests, suggest changes.
