    November visit to South Lakes Zoo Our KS4 Informal group had a day trip to South Lake Zoo to visit all the different animals from around the world and to help enhance their learning by actually seeing the animals in real life to encourage and develop them through sensory including smells, touch, listening and being able to see how large or small the animals were and the habitats that they live in.   • Christmas Time at Crosshill

    Friends of Crosshill Family Christmas preparation. Friends of Crosshill hosted their final event of the term on Thursday 30 November with the family Christmas craft afternoon. Our families enjoyed their time after school decorating baubles, scented candle jars, making ginger bread people and cinnamon stick Christmas trees. It was very social event with everyone sharing ideas and enjoying a chat. We all found it to be a very relaxing and therapeutic way to spend the afternoon. Friends of Crosshill has more fun activities in the forthcoming months. Do not miss out on our next event on Friday 25 January 2019. The Christmas panto has become very popular over the years. Each year Friends of Crosshill invites “Tickled Pink Productions” to entertain our families. This unique production includes students and their siblings to be stars of the show alongside the professional actors. This year the pantomime is “Wizard of Oz.” Tickets are on sale now at £4.50 per adult and £2.50 per child. Children have the option to perform or just watch.
